ABOUT US
The Compass Rose Initiative is a development unit positioned for growth within the Identity
Futures Lab, in conjunction with the Home Office Innovation Cell. We are based in a new on-
campus facility on the outskirts of Reading, designed for collaboration and reflection
outside of London.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
“To protect and empower vulnerable adolescents during one of the most psychologically
formative periods of their lives—by building inclusive, emotionally literate environments
that resist ideological extremism and promote belonging.”
The Compass Rose Initiative exists to turn the tide on digital misogyny, identity-based
harm, and early-stage radicalisation—by supporting students as they move from junior to
secondary school, a phase where identity, belief systems, and vulnerability to manipulation by on line negative influence.
Regional Safeguarding & Inclusion Advisor
INVATATION ONLY PATHFINDER PROGRAMME
This invitation-only post sits within a flagship pathfinder programme dedicated to
promoting identity resilience during the Year 7 transition phase. The successful candidate
will be responsible for:
• Delivering The ADOLESCENCE Framework in secondary schools across Swindon, Bath,
Cheltenham, Bristol, and Gloucester.
Designing localised interventions focused on community safeguarding and emotional
development (experience in DEI or education preferred).
• Acting as a DEI lead liaison between institutions, families, and local authority safeguarding
hubs.
• Supporting structured narrative workshops in response to escalating online harms and
gender-based digital threats.
You’ll be part of an agile team shaping the national Identity Futures agenda in partnership
with senior stakeholders and policymakers
